Damien Coates
Founder of DC-Fitness. Personal Trainer and Chief Instructor
I have 10 years experience as a successful personal trainer helping all my clients, including professional athletes and models, achieve their goals. I am an enthusiastic, keen sportsman that has taken a strong interest in health and fitness from a young age, playing football as an apprentice at Oldham Athletic and later Stockport County. I have also competed around the country and in Thailand achieving great success through my ability and determination in Muay Thai; I am currently the British Champion (GBMTO) and North West Area Champion (ITBF). For the last 3 years I have also been selected to compete for the England team in the World Championships, dedicating three months full time training in Thailand. Since the millennium I have been teaching weekly Thai-Kickboxing classes from beginner to fighter for all ages.

Tim Coates
Tim has a vast array of knowledge and experience in coaching athletes at elite levels and has studied sports performance in many cultures across the world. His past experience includes 28 years of studying Thai Boxing, 5 years teaching and co-founder of Russell Thai-Boxing Academy.
He was a fitness instructor at Platt lane complex (MCFC) for 2 years.
Tim’s most recent research is in performance enhancement and in particular Visual Coaching of ‘reading the game’. For more details on Tim's psychological coaching methods visit his Sporting Logistics website.
Tim is an affiliated member of both the BPS (British Psychological Society) and BASES (British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences).
Tim is currently in his final year of a sports psychology degree (Bsc) at Bolton University and holds the following qualifications:

Simon Sloan
Personal Trainer and Instructor
With 15 years sport and fitness background and 5 years of personal training experience, I will use my knowledge and motivation to make sure all my clients achieve their goals. I have competed nationally in competitions with many achievements including 1st place in England for 110m hurdles U20 men, but to an unfortunate injury putting a break in my training, I have now turned to putting my knowledge and experience into helping other people to gain fitness and personal wellbeing, with your determination and my motivation and knowledge you WILL achieve your fitness goals!!!

Tom Renshaw - Instructor
Tom has over 7 years experience in Muay Thai training and has taken part in both amateur and professional bouts. In 2007 he fought for a British title. During this time he has shown commitment and determination as well as developing his own skills and techniques.
Tom's experience and nature to help others has resulted in him becoming an assistant instructor encouraging students to develop their own fitness levels and Muay Thai techniques, in particular he enjoys circuit training. Tom has recently completed a level 2 fitness instructor course and is studying for his personal trainer award.
Anna Johnson - Instructor
Anna has over 7 years Muay Thai training experience constantly showing her commitment. Her enthusiasm and willing to help others has enabled Anna to be chosen in assisting Damien in the introduction courses. Anna has since been able to share her knowledge and experience by playing a key role in the development of kids and ladies Fitness & Self Defence programmes.
Anna plans to join a course in 2010 to also become a qualified Personal Trainer.
